Sweeping in, sweeping out\u2026 another timely offering from the Witches Moon, this month\u2019s box is called Witch\u2019s Besom. The March Witches Moon Box focuses our attention on what we would like to sweep into our lives, and what we need to sweep out of them. It includes two meaningful focal items \u2013 an exclusive copy of Deborah Blake\u2019s book The Witch\u2019s Broom<\/em>, and a hand-crafted besom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Witch’s Besom<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Introducing the collection, the Witches Moon says, \u201cAs you pass through the veil into your sanctuary, you find yourself captured by everything. Each item seems to be filled with a sense of life. The feeling of freedom and inspiration begin to overwhelm you. You catch a glimpse of something beautiful above the doorway. Before you can blink, your eyes are directed to the altar positioned in the center of the space. Placed delicately upon the altar table sits the Besom. As you pick it up, the smoke from the incense drifts in-between each bristle, swirls around the handle, and finally makes its way to the heavens. A faint whisper can be heard\u2026 \u2018The Sweeper of Storms\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Published exclusively as a hardcover for this collection, this book by renowned author Blake, is \u201can authentic practitioner\u2019s guidebook.\u201d The Witches Moon says it is \u201ca perfect resource when crafting or working with your Besom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBroomstick magick can be used for cleaning, protection, preventing nightmares, bringing in love, and sweeping away illness. If you believe in the old legends, it can even be used to make rain or get rid of unwanted guests! Hand-Crafted Ritual Altar Besom<\/h2>\n\n\n

The Altar Besom was crafted from Tamarindus Indica wood, Eleusine Plant, and Vetiveria Roots. All of these were chosen specifically for their \u201cenergetic impact.\u201d Tamarind is said to attract love, and the handle of the besom is said to provide \u201ca direct conduit to love in all its forms.\u201d Eleusine is \u201crelated to dreams, ancient wisdom, and prosperity.\u201d And Vetiveria Root is suggested as an \u201cagent of tranquility and emotional calm.\u201d The besom is bound by colorful twine, and an Amethyst crystal is nestled within the bristles. The Besom has been crafted in a small size to sit upon a personal altar, or in any sacred space. The Witches Moon offers suggestions for incorporating your besom, but encourages following one\u2019s intuition above anything else. The besom I received is sweet, pretty, and well-constructed; I\u2019ll be happy to place it in a meaningful spot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another really wonderful item in this month\u2019s box is the Handmade Panakeia\u2019s Peppermint Ritual Sacred Soap. The soap is lovely and encourages a feeling of comfort and safety. It is named for Panakeia, a goddess of cures and remedies. The Witches Moon suggests using the soap in cleaning the hands before ritual or meditative work. It smells lovely, and I\u2019m looking forward to using it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Larimar \u2013 Sing Your Song<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Personalized Oracle Reading is a single card from the Crystal Blessing Cards Deck<\/em> by Valencia Chan. The Witches Moon says \u201cThe crystal represented may be a helpful companion for you to seek out on your journey ahead.\u201d And here we have something else that is timely to me \u2013 the card included in my box is Larimar. The stone is said to correspond with the throat chakra, which is meaningful to me because of Hashimoto\u2019s Disease, and it is said to assist communication and expression. Larimar is also called Dolphin Stone, and the card encourages you to put aside insecurities and be more like a dolphin. It says, \u201cIt\u2019s more important to be yourself with all your idiosyncrasies than worry if you are doing it \u2018right\u2019.\u201d This is a stone I will seek out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
